Although it may look like the forests of Oregon or Washington, this overlook was actually only about 40 minutes from Downtown LA. This was taken on the road up to Mt. Wilson Observatory, in the mountains to the east of the city. The drive provides great overlooks to the rolling mountain forests below, and gives a great break or getaway from the bustling city life.
